Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic

Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic was a home away from home for Bobbie Nick Voss as she received her colon cancer treatments. Bobbie spoke endlessly of the kindness of the nursing staff and the continuous support she received from all aspects of her treatment. In making the decision on where to designate the funds raised during the BNVCF Golf Classic, it was not difficult to include Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in that decision process.

Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center have many programs in place that fit into our mission: “Making a Difference Through Early Detection.” One in particular is a project that focuses on CT Colonography screening.

A colonoscopy is the gold standard to get screened for colon cancer, but not everyone is jumping at the chance to get one. Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, along with Aurora St. Luke’s, is working toward getting more people screened using this new and advanced method and will be working with researchers and radiologists at the University of Wisconsin to further this exciting new technology.

We hope that screening with this new imaging technology will alleviate the fear, anxiety, and embarrassment associated with conventional colorectal screening.

The Board of Directors of Bobbie Nick Voss Charitable Funds is very appreciative of the many kind donations that have been given in the memory of Bobbie. Our responsibility as an organization is to make sure that we allocate your gifts with the same love that we had for Bobbie.

Your gifts will be making a difference and will have a positive impact on many lives.
